Everything we do starts from this single idea.
Your life is not static. It is not fixed. It is constantly in a state of motion, in a state of change. As your life changes, your needs and desires change too. The "you" of the future will be different than the "you" of today. Unfortunately, your furniture won't be any different. That sofa you bought last month can't change with you. It simply is.
A line you'll hear often is that "time is the new money." We submit that "flexibility is the new time." Our goal is not to spend our time or our money on the problem of having furniture that doesn't work. Our goal is to never encounter the problem in the first place because we use a system that allows our furniture to change with us.
If you add up all the places you go during your lifetime, you'll find that the place you call "home" is where you spend the majority of it. What that place looks like, how you feel about it, and how it makes you feel about yourself has a meaningful effect on who you become. Does your place inspire or distract? Is it a place you're proud of, or one you apologize for? Is it a museum or a warehouse?
